The Petzl EXPRESS SLING (SKU C040CA02) is a 25 cm ergonomic quickdraw sling designed for use with the Petzl STRING carabiner in sport climbing and trad climbing applications. The EXPRESS SLING features an ergonomic design that makes it easy to clip and handle with one hand, even while wearing gloves or in demanding climbing positions. The integrated rubber keeper holds the rope-end carabiner in the correct orientation for smooth and reliable clipping, reducing the risk of a missed clip during a dynamic climbing sequence.

Constructed from nylon with rubber retaining elements, the EXPRESS SLING is lightweight and durable, providing the strength and flexibility required for repeated use in sport climbing environments. With a rated strength of 22 kN, the EXPRESS SLING meets the load requirements for use in standard quickdraw configurations on bolted routes and trad placements. The 25 cm length provides a practical extension between the bolt hanger and the rope, reducing rope drag on routes with directional changes while keeping the system compact and manageable on the harness.

The EXPRESS SLING is certified to CE EN 566, UIAA, and UKCA standards, confirming its compliance with internationally recognized sling performance requirements. As with all climbing equipment, the EXPRESS SLING must be inspected before each use for signs of wear, cuts, abrasion, or UV degradation, and retired from service in accordance with Petzl's retirement guidelines or immediately if any damage is identified.
