Product Description

The Coffing ECMT Electric Chain Hoist combines a small-frame electric chain hoist with a parallel-mounted motorized trolley for powered vertical lifting and horizontal load travel. The configurations shown range from 0.25 Ton to 3 Ton capacities, with 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift options and lifting speeds from 4 to 64 FPM. Each model uses one-speed hoist control and is listed for 115/230/460 VAC operation.

The motorized trolley provides powered movement along a compatible overhead beam, reducing the physical effort required to reposition the hoist and suspended load. This arrangement is suited to frequent material movement, longer runway systems and applications requiring efficient positioning between workstations. The parallel-mounted configuration keeps the hoist aligned with the trolley assembly, while the small-frame construction provides a compact lifting system for industrial production and maintenance environments.

The EC hoist uses lightweight cast aluminum alloy housings with heat-treated alloy steel gearing operating in an oil bath for reliable lubrication and heat dissipation. Independent motor and mechanical load brakes provide controlled stopping and load holding, while an overload-limiting clutch helps protect the hoist and supporting structure from excessive loading. Adjustable upper and lower limit switches restrict hook travel, and the trolley incorporates durable wheels and wrap-around side plates for reliable powered beam travel.
