The Coffing ECMT Electric Chain Hoist combines a large-frame EC hoist with a cross-mounted motorized trolley for powered vertical lifting and horizontal load travel. The models shown range from 1 Ton to 5 Ton capacities, with 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift configurations and lifting speeds from 5 to 48 FPM. These models use one-speed hoist control and 230/460 VAC three-phase power.

The motorized trolley moves the hoist and suspended load along a compatible overhead beam without requiring the operator to manually push the load or pull a trolley hand chain. Powered horizontal travel is well suited to frequent material movement, longer runway systems and applications where controlled positioning of heavy components is required. Motorized trolley wheels are heat treated for additional durability in repeated industrial service.

The large-frame hoist uses ductile iron load-bearing housings with cast aluminum alloy covers and non-load-bearing enclosures. Heat-treated alloy steel gearing operates in an oil bath to provide dependable lubrication and effective heat dissipation. Independent multiple-disc motor and mechanical load brakes provide positive load control, while the overload-limiting clutch helps protect the lifting mechanism and supporting structure against excessive loading.
