Product Description

Product Description:
The Coffing ECT Electric Chain Hoist combines a large-frame EC electric hoist with a cross-mounted plain trolley for heavy-duty industrial lifting and manual horizontal load movement. The models shown range from 1 Ton to 5 Ton capacities, with 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift configurations and lifting speeds from 5 to 48 FPM. These models use one-speed control and 230/460 VAC three-phase power.

The plain trolley allows the operator to manually position the hoist and suspended load along a compatible overhead beam. Precision-machined cast iron trolley wheels operate on sealed, lifetime-lubricated ball bearings for smooth travel and extended service life. Wrap-around trolley side plates function as safety lugs and bumpers, helping protect the wheels during industrial operation.

The cross-mounted large-frame hoist uses ductile iron load-bearing housings for strength and cast aluminum alloy non-load-bearing housings to reduce unnecessary weight. Heat-treated alloy steel gearing operates in an oil bath for dependable lubrication and heat dissipation. Independent motor and mechanical load brakes provide controlled stopping and load holding, while the overload-limiting clutch helps protect the hoist against excessive loading.
