Product Description

The Yale Cable King Electric Wire Rope Hoist is engineered for heavy-duty industrial lifting and demanding overhead material-handling applications. The double-reeved configurations shown range from 7.5 Ton to 20 Ton capacities, with lifting heights from 75 to 173 ft and lifting speeds from 14 to 46 FPM.

A one-piece welded steel frame provides a strong foundation for the hoist’s mechanical components. Precision spur gearing, a machined steel rope drum and a high-starting-torque motor designed specifically for hoisting service support reliable operation under demanding loads. An automotive-type drive shaft promotes smooth power transmission and extended service life.

The Cable King incorporates an enclosed bottom block with 360-degree hook rotation for easier load alignment. A Weston screw-type load brake works with disc-type AC motor brakes to provide controlled stopping and load holding. Adjustable upper and lower limit switches, along with an upper-block-operated control-circuit limit switch, help restrict hook travel during operation.
