The Yale KALC Air Chain Hoist is a pneumatic lifting system designed for repeated industrial lifting and controlled material handling. This model combines a 0.5 Ton air chain hoist with a plain trolley, 15 ft Lift and 30 FPM lifting speed. The integrated trolley allows the suspended load to be manually moved along a compatible overhead beam.

The KALC product family uses a multi-vane rotary air motor that provides high starting torque, smooth acceleration and responsive control. A full-flow pendant throttle and precision throttle valves regulate airflow for accurate load positioning, while an internal muffler helps reduce operating noise.

A positive-action Weston-type load brake holds the suspended load and supports controlled lifting and lowering. Precision-cut, heat-treated helical and spur gearing provides efficient power transmission, while overload protection helps protect the hoist against excessive loading. The plain trolley configuration is suited to applications requiring both vertical lifting and manual horizontal travel.
