Product Description

The Kito Load Chain is a genuine OEM replacement component designed for use in Kito L5 Series lever hoists at the 3/4 Ton capacity rating using 5.6mm black chain. The load chain is the primary load-bearing element of the lever hoist, transmitting the full working load between the load sheave and the lower hook assembly during every lift cycle. Maintaining a load chain that is in sound condition and within the manufacturer's wear tolerances is one of the most critical aspects of hoist inspection and maintenance, as a worn, damaged, or elongated chain is a direct risk to the safety of the lift and the personnel working in the area.

The load chain on a lever hoist is subject to wear, elongation, corrosion, and mechanical damage over its service life through repeated loading cycles, shock loading, side loading, and exposure to harsh operating environments including moisture, chemicals, abrasives, and extreme temperatures.
