Product Description

The Crosby L-1358 Grab Hook is a heavy-duty alloy steel chain hook designed for Grade 100 and Grade 80 chain assemblies used in industrial lifting, rigging, load handling, and chain sling applications. Its grab-hook profile engages compatible chain links to shorten or adjust a chain assembly while maintaining a compact connection point.

Manufactured from forged alloy steel and quenched and tempered for strength and durability, each L-1358 hook is individually proof tested to 2-1/2 times its Working Load Limit with certification. The series is also fatigue rated for 20,000 cycles at 1-1/2 times the Working Load Limit and uses a 4:1 design factor.

Each hook includes a Product Identification Code for material traceability along with the Crosby name and size identification. The L-1358 configuration incorporates a latch system and is compatible with Crosby S-4338 replacement latch kits. Available chain sizes range from 1/4 to 5/8 in, with Working Load Limits from 4,300 to 22,600 lb depending on the selected size.
