The Petzl ABSORBICA-Y MGO is a double lanyard with an integrated energy absorber and MGO connectors, designed for continuous fall arrest protection during movement on structure. The Y-configuration provides two legs, allowing the user to maintain a constant connection to the anchorage by clipping the second leg to the next anchor point before unclipping the first — ensuring uninterrupted fall protection during transitions. The integrated energy absorber deploys during a fall to limit the maximum arrest force transmitted to the user's body, reducing the risk of injury.
