Product Description

The Petzl GRILLON PLUS (SKU L052EA01) is a 3 m adjustable work positioning lanyard designed to create comfortable and secure work positioning systems as a complement to a fall arrest system. The lanyard's length can be very easily and precisely adjusted as needed, allowing the worker to fine-tune their position at the work station for maximum comfort and efficiency during extended tasks at height. The aramid fiber rope provides excellent abrasion resistance, making the GRILLON PLUS well suited for use on rough or sharp structural surfaces where standard nylon ropes would be subject to accelerated wear.

Constructed from a combination of nylon, aramid, polyester, and aluminum components, the GRILLON PLUS is engineered for durability and reliable performance in demanding industrial, utility, and construction environments. Depending on the configuration, it can be used in single or double mode, providing versatility for a range of positioning applications including work on poles, towers, structures, and other elevated work stations. The self-braking mechanism allows the worker to adjust their working length quickly and securely without the need for additional tools or hardware.

The GRILLON PLUS is certified to North American, European, and Russian standards, including ANSI Z359.3, CSA Z259.11, CE EN 358, CE EN 12841 Type C, EAC, and UKCA, making it suitable for use across multiple regulatory jurisdictions. It is available in 2 m and 3 m lengths to accommodate different working configurations. As with all life safety equipment, the GRILLON PLUS must be inspected before each use for signs of wear, damage, or deformation, and retired from service at the end of its service life or if any defects are identified.
