Product Description

Yale motor-driven trolleys provide powered horizontal travel for compatible hoists operating on American standard I-beams or wide-flange beams. The listed configurations include 1 Ton models with 1-speed operation at 75 FPM and 115/230 V, 2 Ton models with 2-speed operation at 60 FPM and 230 V, 3 Ton models with 1-speed operation at 50 FPM and 230/460 V, and a 6 Ton model with 2-speed operation at 50 FPM and 575 V.

The trolley wheels are manufactured from forged, heat-treated steel and have contoured treads for travel on compatible beam profiles. A totally enclosed, non-ventilated traverse motor uses Class F insulation and thermal switches to help protect against overheating. Power is transferred through a heavy-duty right-angle drive reducer, with the output pinion engaging machine-cut trolley wheel gears for smooth and controlled travel.

Published product information identifies trolley-mounted controls housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure, including a reversing contactor and terminal strip. A NEMA 4X pendant station with hoist and trolley push-button controls supports convenient operation from the floor. The 1 Ton models fit beam flanges from 3 to 5 in and negotiate a 3 ft minimum radius curve; the 2 Ton models fit 3-5/8 to 6 in flanges with a 5 ft minimum radius; the 3 Ton models fit 4 to 6-1/4 in flanges with a 5 ft minimum radius; and the 6 Ton model fits 4 to 6-1/4 in flanges with a 6 ft minimum radius.
