Quick links — also known as maillon rapides — provide a screwgate connection that, once tightened, offers a secure, closed loop without the risk of accidental opening associated with standard carabiner gates. The oval shape of the GO keeps loads centered on the spine, preventing hardware from shifting to the weaker gate side, and makes it compatible with a wide range of pulleys, descenders, and rigging hardware.
The 7 mm wire diameter provides a compact, lightweight connector suitable for applications where space and weight are considerations, while the 16 mm gate opening accommodates ropes, webbing, and hardware within that range.
