The Petzl AXIS (SKU R074AA27) is an 11 mm low stretch kernmantel rope designed for work-at-height applications including rope access, industrial rescue, and confined space entry. With good handling characteristics and a low stretch construction, the AXIS provides the control and predictability required for professional rope access technicians who need precise positioning and minimal bounce during descent, ascent, and load transfer operations. The 1200 ft length makes it well suited for large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects where extended rope runs are required.

Constructed from a polyester sheath and nylon core with a 32-carrier sheath construction, the AXIS delivers a balance of abrasion resistance, flexibility, and low elongation under working loads. The polyester sheath provides excellent resistance to UV exposure, moisture, and the abrasion encountered during repeated use on industrial structures, towers, bridges, and building facades.
