Product Description: The Tractel Blocfor® B100 is a 100 ft self-retracting lifeline (SRL) designed for general working-at-height and fall arrest applications requiring extended range of movement. Available with either a fiberglass or cast aluminum housing, the unit contains a 100 ft galvanized steel wire rope that pays out and retracts automatically as the worker moves, maintaining constant tension and eliminating slack that could contribute to fall distance. The automatic retraction mechanism engages instantly upon a fall event, arresting the fall quickly and minimizing fall distance and arrest forces on the worker.

The Blocfor® B100 is equipped with a swivel self-locking snap hook for secure, tool-free connection to a compatible dorsal D-ring on a full-body harness. The swivel function allows the snap hook to rotate freely, reducing torque and twisting on the lifeline during movement and helping to maintain proper orientation throughout the work task. The galvanized steel wire rope provides high tensile strength and corrosion resistance, making this unit suitable for demanding outdoor and industrial environments where extended working range is required.

Certified to CSA Z259.2.2-17, ANSI Z359.14-2014, and OSHA requirements, the Blocfor® B100 meets the applicable North American standards for self-retracting lifelines. It is intended for use as part of a complete personal fall arrest system in conjunction with a certified full-body harness and compatible anchorage connector. Installation, inspection, and use must be performed in accordance with Tractel's instructions and applicable fall protection regulations.
