CM Tornado 360 lever hoists are manually operated ratchet hoists designed for lifting, lowering, pulling, dragging, stretching, tensioning, and positioning loads. The listed configurations include 3/4 and 1-1/2 Ton capacities with 5, 10, 15, and 20 ft Lift options. Their compact construction and ergonomic operating system make them suitable for industrial maintenance, equipment installation, fabrication, construction, and rigging applications where controlled manual load movement is required.

The Sidewinder lever incorporates a fold-out revolving handle and a lever that rotates through 360 degrees. This arrangement allows the operator to change hand position and operate the hoist from different angles while keeping the body more closely aligned with the load chain. The handle can also be returned to an upright position for conventional ratcheting operation. Double-reduction gearing and long-lasting bearings help reduce operating effort, with the listed 3/4 Ton models requiring approximately 38.2 lb of pull and the 1-1/2 Ton models requiring approximately 58.5 lb.

One-handed free chaining allows unloaded slack chain to be pulled through the hoist for rapid hook positioning. A locking directional selector clearly identifies lifting, lowering, and neutral operation, while the enclosed Weston-type brake remains protected from dirt and moisture for precise load control. Zinc-plated load chain, corrosion-resistant chain guides, a cast chain end stop, and forged swivel hooks with cast safety latches support reliable use in demanding environments.
