Product Description

The Peakworks Upgraded Padded Full-Body Harness is an XXL harness rated to 400 lb with aluminum hardware, designed to provide enhanced comfort and fit for heavier workers requiring extra-extra-large sizing and high-capacity fall arrest performance in demanding work-at-height applications. The 400 lb capacity rating accommodates heavier workers or those carrying substantial tools and equipment, where a standard 310 lb capacity harness would be insufficient for the worker's total weight. Aluminum hardware provides a lightweight alternative to steel hardware, reducing overall harness weight and fatigue during extended wear — a meaningful benefit for larger workers who may experience greater physical demands during extended work shifts at height.

The upgraded padded configuration incorporates additional padding at key contact points including the shoulders, chest, and legs, reducing pressure and discomfort during prolonged wear and extended work shifts at height. For heavier and larger workers, proper harness fit and padding are especially important as the forces distributed across the harness during a fall arrest event are greater, making correct adjustment and adequate padding at contact points critical to both comfort during normal use and protection during fall arrest. The dorsal D-ring provides the primary fall arrest attachment point and must be positioned correctly at the center of the worker's upper back between the shoulder blades before work begins, with all straps adjusted snugly and verified before each use.

This harness must be used as part of a complete personal fall arrest system with compatible connecting subsystems and anchor points rated for the 400 lb capacity range. All lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, rope grabs, and anchor points used with this harness must be rated for and compatible with the 400 lb capacity requirement. Inspect the harness before each use for webbing wear, fraying, cuts, chemical damage, discoloration, buckle and hardware defects, and stitching integrity. Remove from service immediately if any defects are identified or if the harness has been subjected to fall arrest forces.

Material: Webbing construction (verify specific material with Peakworks product documentation) Aluminum hardware

Compatible With: Shock-absorbing lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, and rope grab devices rated for 400 lb capacity Fall arrest anchor points rated for applicable loads Compatible tool lanyard attachment points (verify with Peakworks product documentation)

Uses: Full-body harness for personal fall arrest systems requiring 400 lb capacity Construction, industrial maintenance, and general work-at-height applications for heavier workers requiring XXL sizing Extended wear applications where enhanced padding and lightweight aluminum hardware improve comfort during long work shifts Applications requiring XXL sizing with high-capacity fall arrest performance

Key Features: XXL sizing for larger and heavier workers 400 lb capacity rating for heavier workers and those carrying substantial tools and equipment Aluminum hardware for reduced weight compared to steel hardware alternatives Upgraded padding at key contact points for enhanced comfort during extended wear Dorsal D-ring fall arrest attachment point

Note: Always confirm the worker's total weight including tools and equipment does not exceed the 400 lb rated capacity before use. All connecting subsystems and anchor points must be rated for and compatible with the 400 lb capacity requirement. Always inspect and properly adjust the harness before each use, verifying the dorsal D-ring is centered between the shoulder blades and all straps are snug and correctly positioned. A harness that has been subjected to fall arrest forces must be removed from service immediately and must not be reused. Inspect before every use and retire from service if any damage, defect, or fall arrest event is detected.
