The Peakworks Upgraded Padded Full-Body Harness is a large harness constructed from polyester webbing with aluminum hardware, designed to provide enhanced comfort and fit for workers requiring large sizing in demanding work-at-height applications. Polyester webbing construction delivers excellent resistance to moisture, UV exposure, abrasion, and common industrial chemicals, ensuring reliable performance and long service life across a wide range of indoor and outdoor work environments. Aluminum hardware provides a lightweight alternative to steel hardware, reducing overall harness weight and fatigue during extended wear while maintaining the strength and durability required for fall arrest applications.

The upgraded padded configuration incorporates additional padding at key contact points including the shoulders, chest, and legs, reducing pressure and discomfort during prolonged wear and extended work shifts at height. Proper harness fit is essential to fall arrest performance — straps must be adjusted so the harness fits snugly against the body without restricting movement or circulation, with the dorsal D-ring centered between the shoulder blades, the chest strap positioned at mid-sternum level, and the leg straps fitting snugly around the upper thighs before work begins. The large sizing accommodates workers within the specified size range and must be verified to fit correctly before each use, with all adjustment points checked and secured.

This harness must be used as part of a complete personal fall arrest system with a compatible shock-absorbing lanyard, self-retracting lifeline, or other connecting subsystem, and a suitable anchor point rated for fall arrest loads. Inspect the harness before each use for webbing wear, fraying, cuts, chemical damage, discoloration, buckle and hardware defects, and stitching integrity. Remove from service immediately if any defects are identified or if the harness has been subjected to fall arrest forces.
