Product Description

The Peakworks Restraint Lanyard with Twin Snap Hook is a work restraint lanyard featuring two snap hook connectors, designed to provide versatile connection options for work restraint applications that prevent workers from reaching fall hazard zones. The twin snap hook configuration allows the lanyard to be connected at both ends to compatible attachment points on a harness and anchor system, or used in configurations where dual connection points improve the stability and effectiveness of the restraint setup. Snap hook connectors provide quick, reliable, and tool-free connection and disconnection, improving efficiency during work positioning and transitions between anchor points.

Work restraint lanyards are used in conjunction with a full-body harness and a suitable anchor point to physically limit a worker's range of movement, keeping them away from unprotected edges, floor openings, and other fall hazards. The twin snap hook design adds connection flexibility compared to single-hook restraint lanyards, making it suitable for a wider range of anchor configurations and harness attachment point combinations encountered on construction sites, industrial facilities, and other elevated work environments. This type of system is appropriate where the work area and anchor point configuration allow the restraint method to be reliably applied and where the worker cannot reach the fall hazard when the lanyard is taut.

Always confirm that both snap hooks are fully closed and locked before committing to the connection. The lanyard should be connected to the appropriate attachment point of a compatible full-body harness as directed by the harness manufacturer and applicable fall protection regulations. Inspect the lanyard and both snap hooks before each use for webbing wear, fraying, stitching damage, chemical exposure, and hardware defects including gate function and locking mechanism integrity, and remove from service immediately if any defects are found. Work restraint systems must be planned and implemented by a competent person to ensure the restraint method is effective for the specific hazard and work area configuration.

Material: Webbing or rope construction (verify specific material with Peakworks product documentation) Steel or alloy twin snap hooks (verify specific hardware material with Peakworks product documentation)

Compatible With: Compatible full-body harnesses with appropriate attachment points for restraint use Suitable anchor points rated for restraint system loads

Uses: Work restraint to prevent workers from reaching fall hazard zones Unprotected edge and floor opening hazard control Construction, industrial maintenance, and general work-at-height restraint applications Applications requiring dual snap hook connection flexibility

Key Features: Twin snap hook configuration for versatile connection options Snap hooks provide quick, reliable, tool-free connection and disconnection Designed for work restraint applications Suitable for a range of anchor configurations and harness attachment point combinations

Note: This lanyard is designed for work restraint, not fall arrest. It must not be used as a fall arrest lanyard. Always confirm both snap hooks are fully closed and locked before use. Work restraint systems must be planned by a competent person to confirm the restraint method is effective for the specific hazard and work configuration. Inspect before every use and retire from service if any damage or defect is detected.
