Product Description

The Peakworks Safety Harness is a large full-body harness featuring Stability Lock and friction buckle adjustment, designed to provide secure, reliable fit and fall arrest performance for workers in construction, industrial maintenance, and general work-at-height applications. The Stability Lock system maintains the dorsal D-ring in the correct centered position on the worker's upper back, preventing the D-ring from shifting laterally during movement and ensuring the fall arrest attachment point remains properly positioned throughout the work shift. Correct dorsal D-ring positioning is critical to fall arrest system performance, as a shifted or off-center D-ring can affect the orientation of the worker during and after a fall arrest event.

Friction buckles provide tool-free strap length adjustment, allowing workers to quickly and precisely adjust the harness to achieve a correct and snug fit before beginning work. Proper harness fit is essential to fall arrest performance — straps must be adjusted so the harness fits snugly against the body without restricting movement or circulation, with the dorsal D-ring centered between the shoulder blades, the chest strap positioned at mid-sternum level, and the leg straps fitting snugly around the upper thighs. The large sizing accommodates workers within the specified size range and must be verified to fit correctly before each use.

This harness must be used as part of a complete personal fall arrest system with a compatible shock-absorbing lanyard, self-retracting lifeline, or other connecting subsystem, and a suitable anchor point rated for fall arrest loads. Inspect the harness before each use for webbing wear, fraying, cuts, chemical damage, discoloration, buckle and hardware defects, and stitching integrity. Remove from service immediately if any defects are identified or if the harness has been subjected to fall arrest forces. Always follow the manufacturer's donning, adjustment, and inspection instructions and applicable fall protection regulations.

Material: Webbing construction (verify specific material with Peakworks product documentation) Hardware (verify specific buckle and hardware material with Peakworks product documentation)

Compatible With: Compatible shock-absorbing lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, and rope grab devices for fall arrest Fall arrest anchor points rated for applicable loads

Uses: Full-body harness for personal fall arrest systems Construction, industrial maintenance, and general work-at-height applications Applications requiring Stability Lock dorsal D-ring positioning Applications where friction buckle adjustment is preferred for quick and precise fit adjustment

Key Features: Large sizing Stability Lock system to maintain dorsal D-ring in correct centered position Friction buckle adjustment for tool-free, precise strap length adjustment Dorsal D-ring fall arrest attachment point

Note: Always inspect and properly adjust the harness before each use, verifying the dorsal D-ring is centered between the shoulder blades and all straps are snug and correctly positioned. A harness that has been subjected to fall arrest forces must be removed from service immediately and must not be reused. Inspect before every use and retire from service if any damage, defect, or fall arrest event is detected.
