Product Description

The Peakworks Premium Vertical Polysteel Lifeline is a 75 ft lifeline rated to 6000 lb minimum breaking strength, designed for demanding vertical fall protection applications where extended reach and superior rope durability are required. Polysteel rope construction combines a polyester outer braid with an internal steel wire core, delivering the handling flexibility of a synthetic rope alongside the cut resistance, abrasion resistance, and tensile strength of a steel core. This construction makes it well suited for environments where ropes may contact sharp structural edges, abrasive surfaces, or other hazards that would compromise standard synthetic lifelines.

The 75 ft length provides substantial vertical reach for applications on tall structures including communication towers, wind turbines, multi-story construction, storage tanks, and industrial facilities, while remaining more manageable during deployment and retrieval than longer 100 ft or 200 ft variants. This length is particularly well suited for structures where the working height falls between what a 50 ft lifeline can cover and where a full 100 ft lifeline would result in excessive rope below the working position. The premium designation reflects enhanced construction quality and performance characteristics compared to standard polysteel lifelines, making it appropriate for high-demand professional use where reliability over extended rope lengths is critical.

This lifeline is intended for use as part of a complete personal fall arrest system with a compatible full-body harness, a rope grab device rated for polysteel rope and confirmed compatible with the lifeline's diameter, and a suitable anchor point capable of supporting fall arrest loads. The lifeline must be anchored above the work area and the rope grab positioned correctly on the line before work begins. Inspect the full length of the rope before each use for fraying, kinking, core wire protrusion, chemical damage, or any other deterioration, and remove from service immediately if any defects are found.

Material: Polysteel rope (polyester outer braid with steel wire core)

Compatible With: Rope grab devices rated and compatible with polysteel lifeline rope diameter Full-body harnesses with dorsal D-ring fall arrest attachment Fall arrest anchor points rated for applicable loads

Uses: Vertical lifeline for personal fall arrest systems Communication tower and wind turbine climbing Multi-story construction and tall industrial structure applications Storage tank and elevated facility work at height

Key Features: 6000 lb minimum breaking strength 75 ft length for extended vertical reach with improved manageability over longer variants Polysteel construction: polyester outer braid with steel wire core Enhanced cut and abrasion resistance versus synthetic-only rope Premium construction for high-demand professional fall protection applications

Note: Always verify rope grab compatibility with polysteel lifeline diameter and construction before use. Anchor above the work area to a suitable fall arrest anchor point. Inspect the full rope length before every use and retire from service upon detection of any damage or defect.
