Product Description

The Peakworks Vertical Polysteel Lifeline is a 100 ft lifeline rated to 6000 lb minimum breaking strength, designed for vertical fall protection applications where extended reach and enhanced rope durability are required. Polysteel rope construction combines a polyester outer braid with an internal steel wire core, delivering the handling flexibility of a synthetic rope alongside the cut resistance, abrasion resistance, and tensile strength of a steel core. This construction makes it well suited for environments where ropes may contact sharp structural edges, abrasive surfaces, or other mechanical hazards that would compromise standard synthetic lifelines.

The 100 ft length provides substantial vertical reach for applications on tall structures including communication towers, multi-story construction, storage tanks, and industrial facilities. The 6000 lb minimum breaking strength rating provides a significant safety margin above the working loads encountered in personal fall arrest applications, making this lifeline appropriate for demanding professional use in construction, oil and gas, utilities, telecommunications, and general industrial maintenance. This lifeline complements the Peakworks Premium Vertical Polysteel Lifeline family and is suited for applications where the 100 ft length meets the vertical reach requirement without the additional rope management considerations of longer variants.

This lifeline is intended for use as part of a complete personal fall arrest system with a compatible full-body harness, a rope grab device rated for polysteel rope and confirmed compatible with the lifeline's diameter, and a suitable anchor point capable of supporting fall arrest loads. The lifeline must be anchored above the work area and the rope grab positioned correctly on the line before work begins. Inspect the full length of the rope before each use for fraying, kinking, core wire protrusion, chemical damage, or any other deterioration, and remove from service immediately if any defects are found.

Material: Polysteel rope (polyester outer braid with steel wire core)

Compatible With: Rope grab devices rated and compatible with polysteel lifeline rope diameter Full-body harnesses with dorsal D-ring fall arrest attachment Fall arrest anchor points rated for applicable loads

Uses: Vertical lifeline for personal fall arrest systems Communication tower and multi-story construction applications Storage tank and industrial facility work at height Oil and gas, utilities, and telecommunications applications

Key Features: 6000 lb minimum breaking strength 100 ft length for extended vertical reach Polysteel construction: polyester outer braid with steel wire core Enhanced cut and abrasion resistance versus synthetic-only rope Suitable for demanding professional fall protection applications

Note: Always verify rope grab compatibility with polysteel lifeline diameter and construction before use. Anchor above the work area to a suitable fall arrest anchor point. Inspect the full rope length before every use and retire from service upon detection of any damage or defect.
