The Crosby S-319CN Carbon Shank Hooks are engineered for dependable heavy-duty lifting and rigging applications requiring durable carbon steel hook performance. Designed for custom lifting assemblies, crane blocks, and industrial material handling systems, these hooks provide reliable strength, reduced bulk, and long service life in demanding environments.
Manufactured from forged carbon steel and quenched and tempered for enhanced durability, the S-319C and S-319CN hooks feature Crosby’s QUIC-CHECK® deformation indicators and forged identification markings for improved inspection, traceability, and operational safety. The pre-drilled cam design allows latch kits to be added at any time, providing additional flexibility for field applications.

Design Factors: All carbon hooks are designed with a 5:1 design factor. All alloy hooks 1t through 22t are designed with a 4.5:1 design factor. All alloy hooks 30t and larger are designed with a 4:1 design factor. All bronze hooks are designed with a 4:1 design factor.
