Coffing C105SB and C115SB cable ratchet lever hoists are manually operated wire rope hoists designed for lifting, pulling, tensioning, and positioning loads in construction, commercial, maintenance, and industrial applications. Both models have a 1/2 Ton single-line capacity, a 20 in minimum distance between hooks, a 16-5/8 in operating lever, and 3/16 in diameter cable. The C105SB provides a 40 ft Lift, while the C115SB provides a more compact 23 ft Lift.

Special cast aluminum and zinc-alloy housings provide a lightweight yet rugged structure for portable use. The hoists use preformed, galvanized, extra-flexible aircraft cable, along with stainless steel springs and shafts for corrosion resistance. Rotating shafts are supported by bronze bushings to help reduce friction and wear throughout the operating mechanism. Open-frame construction provides access for inspection and cleaning, while an integrated winding wheel allows faster unloaded cable take-up and positioning.

A double-interlocking pawl system provides positive load holding by keeping at least one pawl engaged during operation. Multiple pawl stops allow controlled incremental load adjustment, while 360-degree swivelling hooks with latches help maintain positive engagement with properly seated attachments. The operating handle is designed to bend as an overload warning before a hazardous load can be applied to the internal mechanism. Manufacturer literature states that these units were tested at 125% of rated load and designed to meet the requirements of ASME/ANSI B30.21.
