The Coffing EC Series Electric Chain Hoist is a high-performance lifting unit engineered for heavy-duty industrial service. The single-reeved small-frame configurations shown are available in 0.25 Ton, 0.5 Ton and 1 Ton capacities, with 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift options and one-speed lifting speeds ranging from 9 to 64 FPM. Electrical configurations include 115/230 VAC and 230/460 VAC models with 1/4, 1/2 or 1 hp motors.

Strong, lightweight aluminum alloy die-cast housings create a compact protective enclosure for the mechanical and electrical components. Heat-treated alloy steel gearing operates in an oil bath for dependable lubrication and effective heat dissipation. The EC Series includes an overload-limiting clutch, a mechanical load brake and an independent motor brake to support controlled lifting and secure load holding.

The listed small-frame models provide 16-7/8 in headroom and share an approximately 23-3/8 in L x 11-5/8 in W x 8 in H housing. Available operating weights range from approximately 100 to 118 lb, depending on motor size and lifting speed. Adjustable upper and lower limit switches restrict hook travel, while the white enamel finish provides a clean, durable exterior for production, assembly and maintenance environments.
