Crosby G-2140E Alloy Easy-Loc shackles are heavy-duty lifting components designed for high-capacity and critical rigging applications where speed, safety, and efficiency are essential. Featuring Crosby’s patented Easy-Loc bolt securement system, these shackles eliminate the need for traditional nuts and cotter pins, significantly reducing installation and removal time.
Manufactured from forged alloy steel and quenched and tempered for superior strength, these shackles are built for demanding environments such as offshore and heavy lifting operations. The Easy-Loc system allows for secure fastening with minimal effort, often enabling one-handed operation during rigging setups.

Material:
Body: Forged alloy steel
Bolt: Alloy steel (Easy-Loc system with stainless steel components)
Quenched and tempered for enhanced strength
Dimetcoted® coating with painted pins for corrosion resistance

Meets or exceeds ASME B30.26 requirements
Conforms to Federal Specification RR-C-271, Type IVA, Grade B, Class 3
Proof Load: 2x Working Load Limit
Ultimate Strength: approx. 4x Working Load Limit (large capacity range)
Available in capacities from 200 to 300 metric tons
Approved operating temperature range: -40°C to 204°C
Individually proof tested, serialized, and MPI inspected
Can meet DNV impact requirements (42 Joules at -20°C)
RFID equipped on larger sizes
