Crosby S-421T Terminator® wedge sockets are high-performance wire rope termination components designed for strength, safety, and efficiency in lifting and rigging applications. These sockets provide a secure method of attaching wire rope, allowing for quick installation and adjustment in the field.
Featuring the patented Terminator® wedge design, the system secures the dead end of the wire rope and helps eliminate potential fatigue issues. The design ensures a reliable connection while allowing the rope to remain undeformed and reusable.

Material:
Body: Cast steel
Individually magnetic particle inspected for quality assurance

Specifications:
Provides approximately 80% termination efficiency based on wire rope strength
Meets or exceeds ASME B30.26, RR-S-550F Type C, and EN 13411-6 requirements
Incorporates QUIC-CHECK® “Go/No-Go” feature for proper rope sizing
Designed for wire rope sizes from 3/8" to 1-1/4"
Eliminates need for extra rope and simplifies installation
Allows reuse of rope as tail remains undeformed
