Description du produit

The Lebus L-150 Series Walking Load Binder is a heavy-duty chain tensioning and securing device designed for use in flatbed trucking, logging, construction, and industrial load securement applications requiring a rated working load of 9,200 lb. The walking load binder — also referred to as a ratchet-style or progressive-action binder — uses a ratcheting mechanism that allows the operator to progressively tension the securing chain in incremental steps by repeatedly actuating the binder handle, rather than requiring the single full-stroke lever action of a lever-type load binder. This walking action provides a significant mechanical advantage over lever binders when tensioning heavy or long chain runs, reduces the peak handle force required from the operator during tensioning, and allows the operator to achieve and maintain precise chain tension without the risk of the handle snapping back under load — a common hazard associated with lever-type load binders.

The 9,200 lb working load limit confirms this binder is rated for use with chain and hook assemblies of equivalent or greater working load limit, and must not be used to secure loads exceeding this rating. The 1/2 inch size designation identifies the compatible chain size — this binder is designed for use with 1/2 inch grade chain in load securement assemblies. The 25-3/4 inch distance between hooks specifies the take-up range of the binder in the open position, confirming the length of chain slack this binder can take up during tensioning and the working length of the binder assembly between the two hook attachment points.

The forged steel construction of the L-150 Series binder body and hooks provides the strength, toughness, and resistance to impact and fatigue loading required for demanding load securement applications in transportation and industrial environments. Forged steel components provide superior grain structure and mechanical properties compared to cast components, making them the standard of construction for safety-critical load securement hardware used in over-the-road transportation and rigging applications.

The Lebus L-150 Series Walking Load Binder must be inspected before each use for cracks, deformation, or wear of the binder body, ratchet mechanism, and hooks, and must be removed from service immediately if any damage or defect is identified. Load binders must never be used with chain of a lower grade or smaller size than the binder's rated chain size, and must never be used to secure loads in excess of the rated working load limit.

Material: Forged steel construction Working Load Limit: 9,200 lb Compatible Chain Size: 1/2 in Distance Between Hooks: 25-3/4 in

Compatible With: 1/2 in grade load securement chain Flatbed trucking, logging, construction, and industrial load securement applications Series: L-150

Uses: Tensioning and securing chain tie-down assemblies on flatbed trailers, lowboys, and other transportation equipment Load securement in logging, construction, and heavy industrial transport applications Progressive chain tensioning in applications where lever binder handle snap-back is a safety concern Load securement assemblies requiring 9,200 lb working load limit rated hardware

Key Features: Lebus L-150 Series walking load binder Walking ratchet action for progressive chain tensioning without handle snap-back risk 9,200 lb working load limit Compatible with 1/2 in grade load securement chain 25-3/4 in distance between hooks Forged steel construction for strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance Suitable for flatbed trucking, logging, construction, and industrial load securement

Note: Always inspect load binders before each use and remove from service immediately if any damage, deformation, or wear is identified. Never exceed the rated working load limit of 9,200 lb. Always use with chain of the correct size and grade. Load securement must comply with applicable federal and provincial transport regulations including FMCSA and Transport Canada cargo securement standards. Never use a cheater bar or extension on the binder handle to increase leverage.
