Product Description

The CM ShopStar Electric Chain Hoist is a compact powered lifting unit designed for rugged industrial and commercial service. These single-reeved models are available in 250 lb, 300 lb and 500 lb capacities, with lifting heights of 10, 15 or 20 ft and lifting speeds ranging from 12 to 40 FPM. The listed configurations include one-speed controls and selected 115, 230, 460 and 575 VAC electrical options, with 11-1/16 in minimum headroom on standard single-reeved models.

The ShopStar features an H4 duty cycle capable of up to 300 motor starts per hour. A thermally protected hoist-duty motor and totally enclosed cast aluminum alloy frame help protect internal components from environmental contamination. The gear train is permanently lubricated with non-oxidizing grease, while a standard overload device helps protect the hoist and supporting structure from damaging overload conditions.

A dual braking system combines a DC brake with regenerative braking for controlled stopping and dependable load holding. The 10-pocket oblique-lay liftwheel increases load-chain engagement to promote smooth operation and longer chain life. CM Hoist Alloy Load Chain, true vertical lift and a NEMA 4 industrial-rated control station support reliable operation in production, maintenance and material-handling environments.
