Product Description

The CM ShopStar Electric Chain Hoist is a compact powered lifting unit designed for rugged commercial and industrial service. These double-reeved models provide a 10 ft Lift with either a 500 lb or 1000 lb capacity. The 500 lb configurations lift at 8 FPM, while the 1000 lb configurations are available with 6 or 8 FPM lifting speeds. All models shown use one-speed controls and have an 11-15/16 in minimum distance between hooks.

A thermally protected hoist-duty motor and rugged cast aluminum alloy frame provide dependable performance for frequent lifting cycles. The totally enclosed, non-ventilated construction helps protect the motor from environmental contamination, while the lifetime-lubricated gear train reduces routine maintenance requirements. A 10-pocket oblique-lay liftwheel promotes smooth load-chain engagement, consistent travel and longer chain life.

The dual DC and regenerative braking system provides controlled stopping and secure load holding. A standard Protector overload device helps prevent damaging overloads, while the NEMA 4 control station is designed for demanding industrial work areas. The orange control-station configuration operates without a contactor, while the other available configurations use contactors housed in the hoist or pendant, depending on the selected model.
