Product Description

The CM Valustar Electric Chain Hoist is a compact and economical powered hoist designed for general commercial material-handling applications. The configurations shown range from 0.25 Ton to 2 Ton capacities, with 10, 15 and 20 ft Lift options. Available models provide 8 or 16 FPM lifting speeds with one-speed control and either 115 VAC single-phase or 230/460 VAC three-phase power. The 0.25 Ton, 0.5 Ton and higher-speed 1 Ton models use single reeving, while the 1 Ton 8 FPM and 2 Ton models use double reeving.

A fully machined and heat-treated liftwheel with hardened chain guides promotes smooth chain movement and reduced wear. CM Hoistaloy load chain supports dependable lifting performance, while the fully machined and heat-treated gear train is permanently lubricated with non-oxidizing grease to reduce routine maintenance. An enclosed hoist-duty motor protects the drive system during regular commercial service.

The Valustar combines a heavy-duty caliper-type AC brake with regenerative braking to provide controlled stopping while limiting heat generation within the power train. A standard overload Protector device helps prevent lifting loads beyond the rated capacity, while the rugged NEMA 4 control station provides dependable one-speed operation. Single-phase models are rated for H3 duty, while three-phase models are rated for H4 duty.
