Crosby IP Model IPU10J lifting clamps are designed for the vertical lifting, turning, moving, and transfer of steel plates, sheets, and fabricated structures. These clamps allow materials to be lifted from horizontal to vertical positions and back again, providing flexibility in handling operations.
The clamps feature a hinged hoisting eye, enabling lifting from virtually any direction or with multi-leg slings without side-loading the clamp. This makes them highly versatile for complex lifting setups in industrial environments.

Body: Welded alloy steel
Components: Forged alloy steel (where required)

Specifications:
Designed for vertical lifting, turning, and transfer of plates and fabrications
Provides full 180° turning range for material handling
Available in multiple models:
IPU10 – Standard clamp
IPU10J – Larger jaw opening
IPU10S – For stainless steel materials
IPU10H – For higher hardness materials
Capacity range from approximately 0.5 to 30 metric tons
Wide range of jaw openings (up to ~6.13 in depending on model)
Equipped with lock open / lock closed latch system for pretension gripping
Individually proof tested to 2× Working Load Limit with certification
Clamp body marked with brand, WLL, and jaw opening
Each unit is individually serialized with proof test data stamped on the body
Minimum WLL:
5% for 0.5T model
10% for all other models
Operating temperature range: -40°C to +100°C
Maintenance and repair kits available
