The CM Lodestar Model B Electric Chain Hoist is designed for industrial lifting, repetitive production work and controlled positioning of suspended loads. The models shown have a 0.25 Ton capacity, single-reeved load-chain configuration and 16 FPM lifting speed. Available configurations provide 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift with 115 VAC, 230 VAC, 460 VAC or reconnectable 230/460 VAC power. Most models use one-speed control, while selected NH models incorporate VFD control for adjustable lifting operation.

The Lodestar NH design offers quieter operation, easier access to major components and reduced routine maintenance. Its heavy-duty DC brake is positioned for convenient inspection, while the lifetime grease-lubricated gearbox eliminates routine oil changes. Precision gearing and a five-pocket liftwheel provide smooth load-chain engagement, reduced vibration and improved chain life.

Lodestar Classic configurations provide dependable powered lifting through a compact aluminum housing, heavy-duty motor and serviceable mechanical design. An overload clutch located outside the load path helps protect the lifting mechanism, while forged latch-equipped hooks and zinc-plated load chain provide durable suspension and load connections. The hoists can be used as fixed units or integrated with compatible trolley systems for horizontal movement along an overhead beam.
