The CM Lodestar Model C Electric Chain Hoist is designed for powered lifting, lowering and controlled load positioning in industrial material-handling applications. These single-reeved configurations are available in 0.25 Ton and 0.5 Ton capacities.

The 0.5 Ton model provides an 8 FPM lifting speed with a 1/2 hp motor, while the 0.25 Ton model provides a faster 32 FPM lifting speed with a 1 hp motor. One-speed control provides consistent vertical load movement.

Both hoists are supplied without load chain, allowing the required chain length to be selected separately. The models are designed for compatible 0.25 x 0.7445 in load chain and provide approximately 16.9 in minimum distance between hooks. A heavy-duty DC brake supports controlled stopping and dependable load holding.
