Product Description

The CM Lodestar Clean Room Electric Chain Hoist is designed for sanitary lifting and positioning applications ranging from routine wipe-down areas to complete wash-down environments. These single-reeved models include Model B hoists with a 0.25 Ton capacity and Model F hoists with a 0.5 Ton capacity. Both models provide a 16 FPM lifting speed and are available with 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift configurations.

The clean-room construction incorporates stainless steel load-chain and hook components, sealed weather-resistant construction and a white epoxy powder-coated housing. Non-oxidizing grease is used instead of oil to help eliminate lubricant drips, while NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X control stations support operation in areas exposed to moisture and regular cleaning.

A heavy-duty DC brake provides controlled stopping and load holding, while the lifetime grease-lubricated gearbox eliminates routine oil changes. Precision helical gearing and a five-pocket liftwheel support smooth chain engagement with reduced vibration and wear. The overload clutch is positioned outside the load path and is externally accessible for easier inspection and servicing.
