Product Description

The CM Lodestar Model H Clean Room Electric Chain Hoist is designed for sanitary lifting and positioning applications ranging from basic wipe-down areas to complete wash-down environments. These models have a 1 Ton capacity, double-reeved load-chain configuration, 8 FPM lifting speed, one-speed control and 1/2 hp motor. Available configurations provide 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift with either 115 VAC single-phase or 230/460 VAC three-phase power.

Stainless steel lifting components help resist oxidation, flaking and peeling in clean production environments. The sealed construction is finished with white epoxy powder coating and uses non-oxidizing grease instead of oil, helping prevent lubricant drips over sensitive products or work areas. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X control stations support operation in wet or regularly cleaned environments.

A heavy-duty DC brake provides controlled stopping and load holding, while the lifetime grease-lubricated gearbox eliminates routine oil changes. Precision gearing and a five-pocket liftwheel promote smooth chain engagement, reduced vibration and longer component life. The externally accessible overload clutch is positioned outside the load path to improve load security and simplify inspection and servicing.
