Product Description

The CM Lodestar Model J Electric Chain Hoist is designed for powered lifting, lowering and load positioning in manufacturing, maintenance and industrial material-handling applications. These configurations provide a 0.5 Ton lifting capacity with available 10 and 15 ft lifting heights.

The 10 ft Lift configurations provide a 32 FPM lifting speed. Standard models use one-speed control, while selected models feature three-step infinitely variable VFD control for smoother acceleration, reduced-speed approach and more precise final load positioning. The VFD configurations use a 1 hp motor and are available for 230 or 460 VAC electrical service.

Depending on the selected configuration, minimum distance between hooks is approximately 18.1 or 18-9/16 in. Applicable models provide a 1-1/8 in hook opening. The listed 15 ft Lift configuration operates at 16 FPM and is designed for 115 VAC electrical service.
