Product Description

The CM Series 640 Puller is a manually operated lever chain hoist designed for pulling, lifting, dragging, stretching, tensioning, and positioning loads. This custom configuration has a 3/4 Ton load capacity and 10 ft Lift, providing additional working reach beyond the standard 5 ft model. CM confirms that Series 640 Pullers can be supplied with longer lifts on a special-order basis.

The frame and operating lever are constructed from lightweight aluminum alloy for portability and strength. A powder-coated exterior and weatherproof construction support outdoor and industrial use, while CM Hoistaloy hardened steel link-type load chain provides strength, flexibility, and resistance to wear. Forged upper and lower hooks include latches to help retain properly seated attachments.

A weatherized Weston-type automatic brake provides positive load control and allows the load to be held at the selected position. Free-wheeling operation permits rapid movement of unloaded chain for faster attachment and setup, while the simplified internal design reduces the number of service components. Standard 3/4 Ton Series 640 models use single-strand reeving and require approximately 58 lb of lever pull at rated capacity.
