CM Series 640 Puller lever hoists are manually operated chain hoists designed for pulling, lifting, dragging, stretching, and positioning loads in demanding construction, maintenance, and industrial applications. The listed configurations cover 3/4, 1-1/2, 3, and 6 Ton capacities, with confirmed lift options from 5 to 20 ft. Their portable hook-suspended design allows the hoists to be installed from a properly rated fixed anchor, beam clamp, trolley, or other suitable overhead connection.

The frame and operating lever are manufactured from lightweight aluminum alloy and protected by a powder-coated finish. Weatherproof construction supports outdoor service, while the CM Hoistaloy hardened steel link-type load chain provides the strength, flexibility, and wear resistance required for repeated lifting and pulling operations. Forged upper and lower hooks are supplied with latches to help retain correctly positioned attachments.

A weatherized Weston-type automatic brake provides positive load control and allows the operator to suspend the load at the required position. Free-wheeling operation permits unloaded chain to be adjusted quickly before attachment, while the long lever provides controlled one-hand operation. Depending on capacity, Series 640 models use one-, two-, or four-chain reeving. The simplified internal design uses fewer service components to support easier inspection, maintenance, and long-term industrial use.
