Product Description

The CM Lodestar Electric Chain Hoist is designed for dependable overhead lifting and repeated material-handling service in industrial environments. The products shown range from 0.125 Ton through 3 Ton capacities, with lifting heights from 10 to 20 ft and lifting speeds from 5.5 to 60 FPM. Available electrical configurations include 115 VAC, 230 VAC and dual-voltage 230/460 VAC models, allowing the hoist to be matched to the facility power supply and required lifting speed.

The Lodestar design combines a lightweight aluminum frame with a hoist-duty motor, hardened steel gear train and lifetime-lubricated gearing for long service life and quiet operation. A precision-machined alloy steel liftwheel and hardened chain guides maintain secure load-chain engagement, while forged steel latch-type hooks provide durable connections to the supporting structure and suspended load.

A standard Load Limiter helps protect the lifting mechanism against excessive loading, while screw-type upper and lower limit switches restrict hook travel. Lodestar hoists can be installed as individual hook- or lug-suspended units, combined with compatible trolleys or incorporated into complete overhead lifting systems. A rugged control station provides convenient powered lifting and lowering for production, maintenance and material-positioning operations.
