The CM Lodestar Electric Chain Hoist is designed for heavy-duty industrial lifting, repeated production cycles and controlled positioning of suspended loads. The double-reeved products shown range from 0.5 Ton to 2 Ton capacities with lifting heights from 10 to 24 ft. Available configurations include single-speed and two-speed operation, lifting speeds up to 16 FPM and electrical options for 115 VAC, 230 VAC, 460 VAC and reconnectable 230/460 VAC service.

The Lodestar uses a lightweight aluminum frame with a precision-machined, hardened alloy steel liftwheel and hardened chain guides for secure load-chain engagement. Its hardened gear train is lifetime lubricated with non-oxidizing grease to support quiet operation and reduce routine maintenance. Hardened forged steel latch hooks and Hoistaloy load chain provide durable lifting connections for demanding material-handling environments.

A hoist-duty electric motor provides powered lifting and lowering through a rugged NEMA 4X control station. Standard overload protection helps guard the hoist against excessive loading, while adjustable screw-type upper and lower limit switches restrict load-chain travel. The Lodestar platform can be installed with compatible hook, lug or trolley suspension arrangements for use as an individual hoist or as part of a complete overhead lifting system.
