CM Series 640 Puller lever hoists are heavy-duty, manually operated chain hoists designed for pulling, lifting, dragging, stretching, tensioning, and positioning loads. The listed configurations cover 3/4, 1-1/2, 3, and 6 Ton capacities, with complete hoists available in 5, 10, 15, and 20 ft Lift arrangements. Less-chain configurations are also included for applications where the required load-chain assembly is selected separately.

The frame and operating lever use lightweight aluminum-alloy construction with a durable powder-coated finish. The weatherproof design is suitable for outdoor and industrial service, while CM Hoistaloy hardened steel link-type load chain provides strength, flexibility, and resistance to wear during repeated use. Forged upper and lower hooks with latches are standard on complete hoists, helping retain properly seated lifting or pulling attachments when the chain becomes temporarily slack.

A weatherized Weston-type automatic braking system provides positive load control and can hold the load at the selected position. Free-wheeling operation allows unloaded chain to be moved rapidly for attachment and initial positioning, while the long operating lever supports controlled one-hand operation. Capacity-specific reeving is used across the product family, with single-chain, two-chain, and four-chain arrangements available according to hoist capacity. The simplified internal design uses fewer components to support straightforward inspection, servicing, and replacement-parts management.
