The CM Cyclone Hand Chain Hoist is a manually operated lifting system designed for heavy industrial load handling without electrical or pneumatic power. This model combines a 4 Ton double-reeved hand chain hoist with an army-type plain trolley and a 10 ft Lift. It requires 87 lb of hand-chain pull to raise the rated load and includes a standard load limiter for overload protection.

The integrated plain trolley allows the suspended load to be moved manually along a compatible overhead beam. Rugged steel loadbars connect the trolley directly to the hoist frame, while universal-tread trolley wheels support operation on suitable flat or sloped beam flanges. The compact trolley-mounted arrangement reduces headroom, side clearance and end approach for easier movement through restricted industrial spaces.

The Cyclone design uses high-efficiency spur gearing, fully machined liftwheel pockets and rugged Hoistaloy load chain for smooth manual operation. A contoured Weston-type brake provides controlled lifting, holding and lowering, while high-strength aluminum alloy frame and cover castings protect the operating components.
