The CM Cyclone Series 646 Hand Chain Hoist is a manually operated lifting unit designed for dependable industrial material handling without electrical or pneumatic power. This hook-suspended model has a 2 Ton rated capacity, single-reeved load-chain configuration and 10 ft Lift. It provides a 17-5/16 in minimum distance between hooks, a 1-5/16 in hook opening and requires 83 lb of hand-chain pull to raise the rated load.

High-efficiency spur gearing reduces the effort required to lift heavy loads, while fully machined, forged liftwheel pockets promote smooth chain engagement. The rugged Hoistaloy load chain is designed for demanding lifting service, and high-strength aluminum alloy frame and cover castings protect the internal operating components.

An enclosed, contoured Weston-type automatic brake provides positive control while lifting, holding and lowering the load. A standard load limiter supplies automatic overload protection, while the swivel-hook suspension allows the hoist to be attached to a properly rated overhead support, beam clamp or compatible trolley.
