The CM Cyclone Series 648 Low Headroom Plain Trolley Hoist combines a manually operated hand chain hoist with an integrated beam trolley for lifting and horizontal load movement. This model has a 5 Ton rated capacity, triple-reeved load-chain configuration and 10 ft Lift. The low-headroom arrangement is designed for industrial applications where maximizing available lifting space beneath the supporting beam is important.

The plain trolley allows the suspended load to be moved manually along a compatible overhead beam. High-efficiency spur gearing reduces the operating effort required to raise the load, while fully machined forged liftwheel pockets promote smooth chain engagement. An enclosed, contoured Weston-type automatic brake provides controlled lifting, holding and lowering, and the standard load limiter helps protect the hoist against excessive loading.

The manufacturer’s catalog lists 75 lb of hand-chain pull to raise the rated load, 18-1/4 in minimum headroom and a 96 in minimum curve radius. The trolley is designed for beam depths from 8 to 24 in and flange widths from 4 to 7 in, supporting installation on compatible overhead runway systems and curved tracks.
