CM Lodestar XL geared trolleys provide controlled horizontal travel for compatible 2 Ton, single-reeved Lodestar XL electric chain hoists. The manual geared design allows the operator to move the suspended hoist and load along an overhead runway beam without requiring a powered trolley motor. Both listed configurations fit beam flange widths from 3.33 to 5.55 in.

An operating hand chain transfers manual input through the geared travel mechanism to the trolley wheels. This arrangement reduces the effort required to move a suspended load compared with a plain push trolley and supports gradual forward or reverse positioning. It is suitable for applications involving heavier loads, longer travel distances, or precise placement of equipment and materials.

These trolleys are designed for runway systems with a 4 ft minimum-radius curve. Each configuration has a 4-11/16 in wheel-tread diameter and 9-1/2 in headroom. The trolley must be matched to the correct Lodestar XL hoist capacity, single-reeving arrangement, beam dimensions, suspension components, and required operating clearances.
