CM Lodestar XL geared trolleys provide controlled horizontal travel for compatible triple-reeved Lodestar XL electric chain hoists. The listed configurations include 5, 6, and 7.5 Ton capacities, all designed to fit beam flange widths from 4 to 6-1/4 in. The trolley supports the hoist beneath an overhead runway beam while allowing suspended loads to be positioned without an electric or pneumatic traverse motor.

The manual geared mechanism uses an operating hand chain to transfer movement to the trolley wheels. This arrangement reduces the effort required to move heavy suspended loads and provides more controlled forward and reverse positioning than a plain push trolley. It is suitable for production, fabrication, assembly, machinery installation, maintenance, and other industrial applications requiring accurate horizontal load movement.

All listed models are designed for runway systems with a 6 ft minimum-radius curve. Each configuration has a 6-1/2 in wheel-tread diameter and 12 in headroom to the shaft.
