Series 653 3/4 Ton Lever Hoist Free Chain Knob - Orange

Product Description

This orange CM free chain knob is a replacement operating component for the Series 653 3/4 Ton hand-operated lever hoist. The knob mounts to the lever ratchet hub and provides the operator with direct control of the hoist’s free-chaining function.

When the hoist is unloaded and the directional lever is placed in neutral, turning the free chaining knob counterclockwise disengages the brake so the load chain can be pulled through the hoist by hand. This allows the lower hook to be positioned quickly before the load is attached. Moving the directional lever to the load or unload position returns the hoist to normal operation.

Replacing a worn, cracked, missing, or difficult-to-operate knob helps restore convenient slack-chain adjustment and proper engagement of the free-chaining mechanism. The Series 653 is designed as a compact, portable lever hoist for lifting and pulling in confined industrial work areas.
