The CM Hurricane 360 Hand Chain Hoist is a hook-mounted manual lifting solution designed for industrial load handling, positioning and pulling applications. The patented hand-chain cover rotates through 360°, allowing the operator to work from virtually any direction, including confined or restricted areas where standing directly beneath the hoist may be difficult. The models shown include 2 Ton and 3 Ton capacities with a 20 ft Lift and a 5 Ton capacity with a 15 ft Lift.

A Weston-type load brake provides positive load control during lifting, holding and lowering. A standard load limiter supplies automatic overload protection, while heat-treated steel gears and pinions support high strength and long operating life. The precision-machined four-pocket liftwheel, chain guide and stripper maintain proper load-chain alignment to promote smooth movement and reduce component wear.

The 2 Ton model has a 15-9/16 in minimum distance between hooks, a 1-3/8 in hook opening and requires 74 lb of hand-chain pull to lift its rated load. The 3 Ton model has a 20-1/2 in minimum distance between hooks and requires 92 lb of pull. The 5 Ton model has a 25-3/16 in minimum distance between hooks and requires 76 lb of pull. The 2 Ton and 3 Ton models use single-chain reeving, while the 5 Ton model uses a double-reeved load-chain arrangement.
