CM Series 657 lever chain hoists are metric-rated, manually operated hoists designed for lifting, lowering, pulling, tensioning, and positioning loads. Both configurations provide a 15 ft Lift with single-strand reeving and hardened steel load chain. The 1-1/2 Ton model has a 13 in minimum distance between hooks and requires approximately 59 lb of lever pull at rated load, while the 3 Ton model has a 16-15/16 in minimum distance between hooks and requires approximately 75 lb of lever pull.

An impact-resistant stamped steel housing protects the internal operating components while maintaining a compact, portable design that is easy to transport and rig. Double-reduction gearing reduces the operating effort required to move a load, and the short cushioned-grip handle rotates through 360 degrees to provide greater flexibility when working around machinery, structures, or other obstructions.

A one-handed free-chaining mechanism allows unloaded slack chain to be taken up or positioned quickly before lifting or pulling begins. Under load, the enclosed screw-and-disc brake remains protected from dirt and moisture while providing positive load holding and controlled positioning. Upper and lower hooks are equipped with retaining latches to help keep properly seated rigging engaged when the chain becomes temporarily slack.
