Product Description

CM Powerstar motor-driven trolleys provide powered horizontal travel for compatible Powerstar electric chain hoists operating along an overhead beam. Both listed configurations use two-speed travel controls and three-phase, 60 Hz electrical power. Part number 6326 is rated for 460 V AC, while part number 6325 is listed for 230 to 430 V AC.

The electric trolley motor replaces the hand-chain drive used on a geared trolley. A reversing contactor mounted within the control enclosure energizes the motor, while forward and reverse push buttons on the pendant station allow the operator to move the suspended hoist and load along the runway. The two-speed design uses a 3:1 speed ratio, providing a faster travel setting for general movement and a slower setting for more controlled load positioning.

The adjustable trolley design accommodates a broad range of compatible beam flange widths. Machined and hardened universal-tread wheels allow operation on American Standard and flat-flange beam sections, while double-row tapered roller bearings support smooth wheel movement. Spur gearing is used within the powered drive system to provide efficient, durable transmission of motor power during industrial material-handling operations.
